The philosophy and experience of Life Mu Ghetto Uganda is based on true story of the director Peter Manyaku who lived at the street and knows how life is hard there and the reality that every human being is a unique individual and that we all have a right to good health and basic needs and should access means to a comfortable life in one way or another.
Life Mu Ghetto started working in Kampala(Uganda) on 2012 by Peter Manyaku's hand whom started going to the ghetto, singing and sharing what was available at the moment (bread, some clothes, sometimes cooked food....) but always trying to empower, preaching positivity and giving tricks and options to all the kids without shelter or resources.
On 17th November 2015 LMGU was definitely stablished as an NGO in Uganda.By that moment LMGU activities were longer known by friends so they also started helping out and bringing other people interested in the ghetto cause around.
On 2017 Jessica Palacios Hervás starts collaborating with LMGU and being aware of all the necessities in the ghetto decides to become a member and in 2018 establishes Life Mu Ghetto NGO in Spain to be able to bring the European resources to the most needed in Uganda
